HBGary Federal has been the subject of counter-attacks by the Anonymous group-that's-not-a-group. The insecure security company allowed its email to leak to the WikiLeaks supporters. And now HBGary has had to pull out of the RSA Conference and the related unconference, Security B-Sides.

The content of the emails revealed all sorts of illegal activities unfortunately for the firm:

WikiLeaks ... to a law firm which has represented the Bank of America ... thought to be the next target of WikiLeaks. ... Bank of America ... have said they had not known about the ... strategy to undermine WikiLeaks ... and that HB Gary Federal was never hired on their behalf. Berico Technologies and Palantir have also attempted to distance themselves from the leaked emails. ... HBGary, an affiliate firm to HBGary Federal ... said that the actions of Anonymous were "criminal".
It is very hard to determine legally what it is that the Anonymous group are doing - vandalism, terrorism, etc. Leave a comment with your thoughts about this group and their activities.

at my old school we use to have a week of computer saftey and i am proud that i still remember all the things i learned :)

I think the masks they are wearing are SUPER creepy. But, they're sticking up for what they believe in.
I have Kaspersky anti virus, its the equivalent of chuck Norris for computers. And i also like the fact that everyone is getting hacked, they are stealing from the reach so they must be called the robin hoods!

some of the things i think the anonymous group is doing is illegal but some things are good, like outing America bank and their plan. breezed through those quizzes. piece of cake:)

I'm damn well tired of all these politicking wars that go on nowadays. Everything is so boring. Can't we go back to the good ol days where and explosion killed someone just as easily as words...
I think don't they're affiliated with Wikilinks. I'm not too sure if I support them or not... that's a tough one.
Quizzes on the other hand were a breeze.

I'm totally with anonymous hackers. Israel have taken what they do not have, that is Palestine. Israel consider themselves natives and they kill millions of Palestinians, including children, and the U.S. government encourages them doing this under the pretext of human rights.
